How It Happened 
    It was Senior Day in Steubenville. Emma Clow was honored prior to the game, and graduate student, Jazzlyn Melnyk was honored for reaching 1,000 career points in front of a strong home crowd. The Barons held the Bearcats in check in a back-and-forth opening quarter, but the opposition was able to hold a 16-11 advantage. The Barons struggled to score offensively int he second and third quarter, as the Bearcats were able to pull away. Maria McCallen filled the box score and had a very nice final quarter. She shot 7-15 from the floor to score a team-high 14 points. 

Inside the Numbers 
- McCallen had 14 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block.
- Seven Barons scored today. 
- The Barons won the turnover battle ,
- Maier led all scorers with 15 points.

Up Next 
Franciscan ends the 2025-26 regular season at Bethany on Saturday. The Barons are in search of their first win at Bethany since the 2019-20 season.
