How It Happened
This game began almost two weeks ago. The Barons traveled to Hiram and were sent back home due to weather. The game was stopped in the bottom of the 7th with one out and the Barons leading 6-4.
Today, we resumed play here in Steubenville. The Barons only needed two more outs, the catch, they were staring at bases loaded. Cook fired heaters down the middle and struck out the first batter. The second batter was walked scoring a run and shrinking the lead to one. Now with two outs and bases loaded if the ball touched grass the Barons would likely lose in the final inning. The ball touched leather. Cook nabbed another strikeout to end the game and seal the win for the Barons in an epic fashion.
