For the 3rd year in a row, the Barons have supported the local behavioral health center by raising awareness for youth with autism and donating all game proceeds to the center foundation. 

How It Happened
    The Barons let go of the rope briefly in the 2nd and 3rd inning. They tightened down, but were unable to match the offense of the Panthers. Maxwell, Smaciarz, and Forster each drove home runs, but the game was decided in the 5th with a Barons deficit of eight runs.

In the Circle
-Starter Cook pitched 5.0 innings allowing 11 earned runs off 15 hits and tallying one strikeout

How It Happened
   The Barons played game 2 much tighter. Again they held the Panthers scoreless in the 1st. They allowed a few runs in the second, but answered back with one of their own. Freshmen pitcher Janele Winner showed maturity not often seen in freshmen by staying in the fight and battling through the ups and downs of the circle. 
    They stayed in the game through four innings, but it began slipping away in the 5th. The Panthers put up four runs extending their lead to 8-1. The Barons blanked the Panthers again in the 6th, but tacked on a handful more in the 7th. 

In the Circle
- starter Janele Winner pitched 6.0 innings allowing 14 earned runs off 16 hits and grabbing her first career strikeout
- relief pitcher Olivia Linden pitched 1.0 innings allowing 0 hits 

Up Next
The Barons travel to Grove City, Pa to face the Grove City Wolverines. The Wolverines are currently sitting 7th in the PAC. The last time the Barons defeated the Wolverines was game 2 in their 2022 season doubleheader matchup.
