STEUBENVILLE, OHIO - Franciscan women's tennis hosted Fredonia Thursday afternoon to conclude its three-match homestand that started the season. Fresh off a 7-0 team win Tuesday, the Barons proceeded to shut its opponents out once again, winning against the Blue Devils by the same scoreline.

Doubles
Colette Park and Jordan Beltavski took to the court first, winning the doubles match 6-1. Sophia Pastura and Elizabeth Swift followed them, winning by a perfect score of 6-0. For the #3 slot, Hazel Mistry and Paige Mattle completed a clean sweep of the doubles event with a decision of 6-1. 

Singles
Beltavski played in the #1 slot in singles as well, and she took control of the whole match, winning in two sets by scores of 6-0 and 6-1. In the #2 position, Park won both her sets by a score of 6-1, while Paige Mattle won at #3 with the same score as Beltavski's singles match. Pastura won at #4 with scores of 6-1 and 6-0, and Mistry won in two sets as well (6-0, 6-1). Finally, Swift won in the #6 singles spot with scores of 6-2 in both her sets played.

Next Up
Franciscan will play its first neutral matches of the season Saturday at Otterbein's campus, playing against Capital University and Indiana University East. The matches will be played at 10 AM and 1 PM.
