The Latest

- After a win streak of four matches, the Barons fell to the Indiana University East Red Wolves during its last match.

- The Barons have been fairly consistent in its record in comparison to the past few years, starting out 4-1 for the third straight season.

- In the conference, Franciscan currently has a standing of third place this season.

The Titans and the Yellow Jackets (GOOD)

- With three games behind them, the Westminster Titans have won one match and lost two, giving them a current standing of fourth in conference.

- In the singles matches, Aurelia Hall has a record of 2-0 overall, and 1-0 in conference.

- With five games behind them, the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets won three matches and lost two, with an 0-1 record in conference play, giving the team a current standing of eighth in conference.

- Overall, Gabby Peiritish, Karly Starcher, and Julia Umshares lead their team all with a record of 3-2 playing a combination of singles and doubles. Meanwhile, their teammates Julia Luzar and Taylor Stephens have the same score playing doubles.

Rising Through the Ranks

- In comparison to the 2025-2026 season, which had an overall win percentage of 56%, the Barons are on a roll with 80% this season.

- The top three leaders of this season in tennis scores are Elizabeth Swift, Colette Park, and Jordan Beltavski, with world tennis scores of 25.99, 26.81, and 27.15, respectively.

Special Notes

- After Franciscan played its first match at Geneva College, the team played four straight non-conference matches. This upcoming stretch starts a streak of six conference matches for Franciscan.

- Since 2011, the Barons have played against the Titans 16 times, with five wins and 11 losses. The last match Franciscan had with Westminster was last season, with a 7-0 victory over the Titans.

- The Barons have played against the Yellow Jackets six times, winning all of them. The most recent match last season ended with a strong win of 6-1.
