STEUBENVILLE, OHIO - Franciscan women's tennis competed against Grove City College at home Monday afternoon in a battle for first place. The visiting Wolverines were victorious in the duel, winning in a 7-0 sweep. 

Doubles
Jordan Beltavski and Colette Park were first to play on the courts, losing by a score of 6-1. Elizabeth Swift and Sophia Pastura played on court #2, while Paige Mattle and Hazel Mistry were on the third court. Both lost by similar scores. Over on court six, Charlotte Helm and Sarah Hand fought all the way to a 6-6 tie, with a tiebreaker just barely going the other way. 

Singles
Beltavski and Park played at #1 and #2 spots, with each of them losing in two sets. Mattle narrowly lost her first set at 6-4, as she played in the #3 slot. Pastura was at #4, while Mistry played at #5; both lost in two sets. Swift was the last to play in singles, playing in the #6 slot. She got two points in the second set.

Next Up
Franciscan will travel to play W&J Friday at 4 PM. The Presidents are placed fourth in the conference currently, one spot lower than the Barons.
