Open Dec19th-22nd, Jan. 3rd-6th, snd Jan.9th-13th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

General Information

Regular Hours of Operations during the academic year.
Monday-Thursday         7 am-10pm
Friday                            7 am-7pm
Saturday                      10 am-4pm  
Sunday                      1 pm- 6 pm
 
Monday-Friday Noon-1PM (facility available for University Faculty and Staff only) 
Tuesday and Thursday women only flex room hours from 6 PM-7 PM

Summer Hours of Operations 

Monday -Thursday 11am-6pm
Friday                    11am-3pm
Saturday & Sunday Closed 
Finnegan Fieldhouse will be closed for recreational use during the summer conferences.
 
Hours of Operations for the University Holiday, Special Events, and Vacation Periods. 
Will be determined: Any adjusted hours will be posted at the FFH entrance, switchboard athletic website, FUS Fitness Center Facebook and. in the FUS bulletin.

• The customer service team of Finnegan are here to provide Fieldhouse members and guest with the best possible experience. We want to make the overall environment, positive, and energetic while at the same time catering to the need in the best way that we can.
• The customer service team (Team Finnegan) consists of our fitness and facilities Leads

Fitness trainers, Greeters, Equipment desk attendants as well as our Facility managers 
For questions, comments, or concerns, contact one of our trained staff members in charge.
 
Membership Policies and Procedures

• Finnegan Fieldhouse is primarily for the use of students, faculty, and staff at Franciscan University of Steubenville 
• You must have a valid FUS ID to use the Fitness Center and Gym and must Sign-in at the Fitness Center Desk/Equipment Desk 
• Faculty and Staff Student are limited to one guest, and they must sign a liability wavier on first visit (kept on file in FFH).
• Finnegan Fieldhouse and the Athletic Department is a tobacco free facility. Smoking or chewing is strictly prohibited anywhere in indoors or outdoors Athletic Department facilities.
• Anyone under the age of 18 must be always accompanied by an adult and may not use the cardio or weight room.
• Fieldhouse members and guests are asked to dress modestly: Shirts always required, no under garment visible, seeing midriffs or no long cut out sleeves of t-shirts for both men and women, spandex must be a 4inch inseam, no open-toed shoes 
• Personal belongs such as coats, bags and backpacks must be kept in the locker in the locker room area in restrooms or use the cubbies provides in the fitness and by the water fountain in hallway
• Offensive language or behavior rough-housing and fighting will not be tolerated.
• Hard or black soled shoes of any type are prohibited on the Kuzma Court, Racquetball court for Aerobics Room/Dance Studio 

 
DRESS POLICY FOR PATRONS

• If spandex is worn, it must have a 4 inch in-seam, must cover entire gluteus maximus and cannot be made of see-through material. 
• No undergarments are to be worn as workout attire, including sports bras.
• No undergarments are to be showing or visible.
• No cut sleeves down to the waste for both men and women.
• Mid-drift must be covered.
• Shoes must be always worn, and open toed shoes are not permitted.

DRESS POLICY FOR EMPLOYEES

• Black pants/shorts for trainers; black pants/shorts, athletic pants, khaki pants (no jeans, no baggy sweatpants)- as professional and presentable as possible.
• Tennis shoes
• FFH shirt (or other FUS shirt only until new shirt order comes in)
• Sweatshirts/jackets: during the winter months, employees may choose to wear a sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt, or jacket. Long sleeve shirts must be worn underneath work shirts; jackets must be Franciscan apparel or plain black and unzipped to show work shirt; sweatshirts must be Franciscan apparel or plain black.
