Scott Greve

Scott Greve begins his second season as head coach for the men’s tennis team after serving as the interim head coach in 2017 and as an assistant for three seasons prior to that.

In 2017, the FUS men’s tennis team had an overall record of 10-11 and won the AMCC for the fifth-straight season. The Barons had a perfect record against the AMCC (5-0) and went to the NCAA tournament for the fifth-straight year. Greve was named AMCC coach of the year and the team earned 11 all-conference nods, including sweeping first-team doubles honors.

Greve also serves as the head women’s tennis coach and guided the Lady Barons to a 12-5 season and back-to-back AMCC championships. FUS finished 8-0 in the conference and did not drop a set in AMCC action. The Lady Barons swept the first team All-AMCC honors and Greve earned Coach of the Year. Madelyn Conrad was named the 2017 AMCC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year.

Greve’s tennis background began in high school when he was a state qualifier on the Van Wert High School’s tennis team. In college, he played for one season at the University of Dayton.

Prior to coming to Franciscan, Greve was the assistant boy’s tennis coach at Lehman Catholic High School for two seasons.

Along with his coaching duties, Greve also works at the university as a Major Gift Officer for the Department of Development.

Greve is married to his wife Jill and has eight children ranging in age from 2-19 years old, several of whom play tennis as well.
