Faith Journey: Franciscan University grad ('96); Serra Catholic High School, religion teacher (2002-03), St. Francis University (Loretto, PA), Asst. to HR director, campus minister, religious studies instructor (2006-2008); FUS Director of Evangelization (2008-2014); M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Loyola Maryland (2018); Counselor, FUS Wellness Center (2018-2022). Currently enrolled in the Doctor of Counseling Psychology (Psy.D.) program at Chatham University (2022-present). I've also worked in African-American parishes, done substance abuse counseling, taught undergraduate psychology, given retreats in the US and abroad, spoken at FUS summer conferences, and done extensive work as a psychotherapist and spiritual director. I love my work with WLAX because I believe the successful integration of human development, sports psychology, and spirituality can equip our athletes not just to succeed on the field, but make them happier and better human beings long after they graduate.
