Holecek took over the Women's Golf program in the spring of 2025 after Bill DiPiero stepped down to the Assistant Coach level.
She led the Barons to a 6th place finish at the PAC Championship in her first season with a very young lineup. In the fall of 2024, she started her second season as an Assistant Coach
Holecek was the first four-year member of the Franciscan Women's Golf Team, as her playing career ended after the fall semester of 2023. She played in 21 mathces over the years, and she served as a leader on and off the course for the Barons.
Holecek lives in Wintersville and works at Weirton Medical Center.Â
