    Chuck Zerger played not even three full seasons with the Baron basketball team, yet at the time of his induction more than 40 years later, he remained among the top 10 all-time Baron athletes in both rebounds and points scored. Zerger was the first of two athletes in Baron history to be named MVP multiple times. His post-college basketball career ended early with a knee injury, and Zerger went on to teach grades 3-12 for 41 years. After his teaching career he had an active puppet show ministry, putting on close to 130 shows each year to support mission work.
