• The Short Story: Franciscan clinched its fourth-straight No. 1 seed in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference tournament with an 8-1 win on senior day, Saturday afternoon.
 
How it Happened
• Seniors Grace Hammel and Madelyn Conrad finished senior day strong as they played at No. 1 doubles together again since their freshman year. Conrad and Hammel won easily 8-1.
• Hammel shut out her No. 4 singles opponent 6-0, 6-0 while Conrad picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.
• Estelle Leon and Haley Davinsizer shut out their No. 3 doubles opponents, 8-0.
• Ana Victoria and Zoey Stapleton picked up an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles.
• Leon won at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-1, while Stapleton swept her  No. 5 singles opponent, 6-0, 6-0.
• Davinszier wrapped up the win with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles.

• The AMCC tournament begins in two weeks, October 19, with the Lady Barons as the No. 1 seed. Mount Aloysius will be the No. 2 seed while Medaille wrapped up the No. 3 seed.
