How it Happened
- Th Cougars would come out hot in the early going with an 8-0, including two threes from Kaitlyn Fertig. The Lady Barons would cut the lead to five at 14-9 behind five points by freshman Clare McGahan in the 1st quarter. Emily Ondo would add a late three as time expired to give the Cougars a 17-9 edge.
- Abby Baierl would heat up as she scored six early points for the Lady Barons in the early goings of the 2nd quarter. Clare McGahan and Kaitlyn Sonneberger added buckets to cut the deficit to four at 25-21, but an 8-0 Chatham run including two more triples would give them the twelve point edge at the half.
- The third quarter was the most competitive quarter as the Lady Barons and Cougars would trade baskets. Freshman Selena Coronis would add two threes and Rebekah Nevarez would add one herself, but the attach from Fertig and Ondos would be too much as the Cougars would head to the 4th up sixteen.

Comments from Coach Kirk
"Chatham really played outstanding today, Ondo is a terrific fundamental player and her along with her teammates were able to get great looks. I am happy our ladies battled for forty minutes and did not give up.
Kaitlyn Sonneberger was huge tonight doing all the little things and scoring a season high ten points, but we were not able to hit the clutch shots we needed to stay in the game." We look forward to getting some rest for our bodies and working on our individual skill development to prep for Grove City and AMCC league play to come."
