How it Happened

• The Wolverines pounced out to an early lead in the first four minutes of play as they would be ahead 13-0. Abby Baierl would break the Lady Baron drought with a layup with 5:31 left in the first quarter. A 7-2 run to end the quarter that included four more points by Baierl, would put the Lady Barons down seven after one quarter. That would go on to be the closest the margin of the game.
• Grove City would start the second quarter on a 6-0 run expanding the lead back up to thirteen, until Abby Baierl added another layup. Rose Judge would add a bucket as well before a 10-0 run by the Wolverines would give them a 23 point edge at the half.
• Selena Coronis opened up Franciscan's scoring in the second half with a three. Estelle Leon would add a pair of free throws and Coronis a layup putting Franciscan down 27. The wolverines would end the quarter on a 6-0 run.
• Clare McGahan would snap a Grove City 6-0 run when she made a layup with with 6:40 left in the 4th quarter. Kelsey Scott-Avery added a triple as well with 5:04 left to play. Freshman Estelle Leon would end the game on a personal 4-0 run to end the game at 79-34.
