- Franciscan is 2-2 all-time against Geneva, alternating wins and losses, with a win last season at home 69-66. Matt Trent led the way for the Barons with a double double 22 points and 15 rebounds. Sean Hickey added 15 points as well. Ethan Moose had a huge day with a double double as well with 30 points and 11 rebounds.
- Geneva won the last meeting at their place 74-64. In a game that featured four Golden Tornadoes reaching double figures. Keoni Sablan scored 15 points to lead the Barons in defeat.

They are currently on a two game losing streak with a 50 point loss to Division 1 Robert Morris Wednesday and an overtime loss at Allegeny Tuesday. The Golden Tornadoes last victory was against AMCC preseason favorite La Roche 85-79.
- Geneva's prolific offense runs through Ethan Moose, the senior center, is averaging 22.5 ppg and 10.8 rpg. He is shooting over 50% from the floor, but only 59.5% from the charity stripe. Noah Demazo, the senior from Beaver Falls, is averaging 16.5 ppg as well
