PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Franciscan men's lacrosse team dropped a 20-3 decision to Chatham in Presidents' Athletic Conference action, Friday night.
 
The Cougars jumped out to a 17-0 lead early into the third quarter. Junior 
Michael Araps got the Barons on the board with an unassisted goal with 3:31 to play in the third. The Cougars pushed their lead to 19-1 after a goal to end the quarter and one to begin the fourth.
 
Senior 
Dan McCartney halted the Cougar run once again with his team-leading 23
rd goal 10:05 into the fourth. McCartney's goal was helped by an assist from junior 
Jonathan Lee.
 
Junior 
Joe Bartholomaus scored the last goal for the Barons, a man-up goal with 4:38 to play to finalize the score at 20-3 in favor of the Cougars.
 
Sophomore 
William Muraski led the Barons with nine ground balls while causing three turnovers. Sophmore 
Grant McKeown made 17 saves in goal for the Barons.
 
Franciscan returns home on Wednesday as the Barons host Thiel in a 4:00 pm PAC contest on Memorial Field.
