ALLIANCE – The Franciscan men's and women's track and field teams competed at the John Homon Open hosted by the University of Mount Union, Saturday.

The men's team posted six All-Ohio Championship marks, the first coming from sophomore
Liam Galligan in the 1,500-meter run. Galligan took first in his heat and for the race with a personal-record time of 3:53.48. Galligan's time is just 3.47 off of the school record.
Sophomore
Mark Borek and senior
Nick Long also posted All-Ohio Championship qualifying times in the race. Borek finished with a personal-best time of 4:02.35 to finish seventh while Long took 10
th with a time of 4:05.37.
Sophomore
Austen Duggan dropped his All-Ohio Championship qualifying time and personal best in the 800-meter run as he took sixth overall with a time of 1:58.06, just over four seconds faster than his previous time.
Senior
Grady Stuckman posted the fifth All-Ohio Championship time as he took 12
th overall in the 5,000-meter run with a personal-best time of 16:06.26.
On the women's side, the Lady Barons collected four All-Ohio Championship times.
Freshman
Allison Bryant took third overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as she broke the school record with a time of 11:50.20. Junior
Kristine Stickney also posted a personal best as she qualified for the All-Ohio Championships with a time of 12:53.74. Sophomore Beth Flanagan came in eighth overall in the race with an All-Ohio time of 12:59.73.
Freshman
Elizabeth Atkins picked up an All-Ohio qualifier as she took 18
th overall in the 1,500-meter run with a personal best time of 5:08.70.
The track and field teams will compete next Saturday at the Westminster Invitational in New Wilmington, Pa.
