GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Franciscan women's tennis team picked up right where it left off in conference play as the Lady Barons earned their second-straight conference sweep with a 9-0 win over Pitt.-Greensburg, Friday afternoon.

The Short Story: Franciscan did not drop a single game in doubles action and just seven games in singles action to sweep the Bobcats.

Ana Victoria Haddad continue to play very good tennis for the Lady Barons with an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles.

Grace Hammel and junior
Zoey Stapleton earned their second-straight doubles win with an 8-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.
• Freshmen duo of
Estelle Leon and
Haley Davinsizer continue to prove to be a formidable doubles team with an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
• Haddad and Hammel swept their singles opponents as well as Hadded took No. 2 singles and Hammel took No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0.
• Leon earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.
• Conrad (No. 1), Stapleton (No. 5), and freshman
Caroline Picard (No. 6) all won their singles match 6-1, 6-1.
What it Means
• Franciscan pushed its all-time record against the Lions to 10-1 with the win.
• The Lady Barons extended their regular season conference wininng streak to 31 matches with the win, dating back to the 2015-16 season.
• The Lady Barons improved to 2-2 on the early season.
