The Franciscan women's tennis team is one win away from clinching the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference tournament top seed after three-straight wins against AMCC teams this past week. This season would mark the fourth-straight season the Lady Barons will be the No. 1 seed in the tournament as they play for their fourth-straight conference crown.

• Senior
Grace Hammel and junior
Ana Victoria Haddad rolled through No. 1 doubles opponents as they won 8-1 against Behrend, 8-3 against Medaille and 8-0 against D'Youville.
• Freshmen pair of
Estelle Leon and
Haley Davinsizer played up at No. 2 doubles for the weekend and won all three matches by set scores of 8-1, 8-3, and 8-0.
• Junior
Zoey Stapleton and freshman
Caroline Picard played at No. 3 doubles for the weekend also won all of their matches by scores of 8-1, 8-2, 8-0.
• Leon won all three singles matches this weekend to push her season streak to nine-straight wins. Leon dropped just six games between the six sets. The freshman won 6-2, 6-1 against Behrend, 6-0, 6-0 against Medaille and completed the weekend with a 6-3, 6-0 win against D'Youville.
• Davinsizer moved up to play in her first conference singles matches of the season at No. 6 and earned three straight victories, 6-0, 6-1; 6-0, 6-1; 6-1, 6-0.
• Picard moved up to No. 5 singles and rolled through her opponents, dropping just two games as she won 6-0, 6-0; 6-0, 6-1; 6-0, 6-1.
• Stapleton had an impressive week at No. 4 singles as she won all six sets. Stapleton won 6-1, 6-1 against Behrend and 6-0, 6-2 against Medaille. Stapleton completed the perfect weekend with a 6-0, 6-7, 1-0 (10-8) win against D'Youville.
• Hammel completed a perfect weekend as well as she played at No. 3 singles against the AMCC teams. Hammel won 6-1, 6-0 on Friday against Behrend, 6-3, 6-0 on Saturday against Medaille and completed the weekend with a 6-3, 6-1 win against D'Youville.
• Haddad played at No. 1 singles for the weekend and went 2-1. Haddad opened the weekend with a 6-1, 6-3 win against Behrend and closed out three-match stretch with a 6-0, 6-0 win against D'Youville. Haddad fell at No. 1 singles against Medaille 6-4, 6-3.
