How it Happened
- The Barons offense would get started early, as Kaitlyn Sonneberger made her first shot of the night, and Kelsey Scott-Avery and Abby Baierl made their first three point attempts. The Panthers would respond as they tied it up at 8-8 with 5:39 to play in the half. Estelle Leon added a pair of free throws and Clare McGahan added a three to give the Lady Barons a five point lead. Baierl ended the quarter by hitting a buzzer beating three to give them a 10 point lead, and to become the All-Time leader in made three point field goals by pacing Hanna Flanagan.
- The Lady Barons defense came up huge in the 2nd quarter as they held the Panthers to only six points in this quarter. It was a slow quarter for both teams to start out, as Angela Starre made a jumper to give them a 14 point lead with 1:21 left in the quarter. Sonneberger added a pair of free throws, and Starre added a free throw to take a 15 point lead into the half.
- Sonneberger kept up her strong shooting day as she made her first jumper to start the third quarter. Ciana Vaughan made a pair of blocks to pass Lacey Huck as the All-Time leader at Franciscan with 43 in her career. Leon continued her strong day as she made another layup and pair of free throws to extend the lead. Kaitlyn Sonneberger scored the Lady Barons last nine points of the quarter, as the Lady Barons took a 31 point lead to the 4th quarter.
- The Barons would keep up the strong offensive night as Ciana Vaughan and Sonnberger pour on two buckets to start the quarter. The Panthers kept battling, as they added a couple buckets, before Clare McGahan mae her second three of the night. Sonneberger made her last bucket with 1:56 left in this one to give her 21 points on the night. Baierl added a final fast break layup, as the Lady Barons took down the Panthers 71-36.Â

- Sonneberger scored a career high 21 points, breaking her record from last game, as she eclipsed the 500 point milestone in her career. She passed Marian Weber to now have the 8th most points scored in a Lady Baron career at 516 points.
- Baierl responded from her recent slump as she scored 17 points, while going 3-4 from deep.
- Estelle Leon pulled down a team high 11 rebounds to record her 5th double double of the season.
