How it Happened

• The Lady Barons would come out hot as Angela Starre would hit her first jumper and Abby Baierl would make back to back buckets to start out with a 6-0 lead. The Mavericks would tighten it up  with a pair of buckets as  the score stood at 9-4 with 4:32 left in the quarter. The Lady Barons would end the quarter on a 7-0 run as Kaitlyn Sonneberger made her first bucket and Kelsey Scott-Avery added a three and jumper to end the quarter with a 12 point lead.
• The Lady Baorns would remain in control as Rose Judge made one free throw, Selena Coronis made a three and Estelle Leon made a bucket for a Franciscan 6-0 run once again to start the quarter. Abby Baierl would add a pair of three point field goals as well as the Franciscan lead stretched to as high as 21 this half, before Morgan Kennedy ended the half making a layup for Medaille.
• The Lady Barons would come out on fire to start to start the second half as a 19-4 run would ensue in the first four minutes of play. Franciscan would have their largest lead of the night as they were ahead 47-16 with 6:56 left in the quarter. The Mavericks would not quit as a 9-0 run would give them some momentum heading into the fourth quarter.
• Angela Starre made her first jumper to open up the quarter, but the Mavericks would continue to fight. Jasmine Darrell added a pair of her three second half threes later to cut this one to 18 points with 2:32 left. It would be a sloppy final minutes with many fouls as the Lady Barons would hold on to a 19 point victory.

• AMCC rebounding leader Estelle Leon pulled down a team high 13 rebounds, she also added a team high 6 assists.
