Madelyn Conrad responded with a tough fought win in #1 singles 2-6, 6-2 (10-2). Unfortunately the Lady Barons only won one doubles match, as the senior duo of Hammel and Conrad took care of business in #1 doubles once more.
The Lady Barons return to action on Wednesday as the face Saint Mary's College (IN) at 9 am and Baldwin Wallace at 6:30 pm. Baldwin Wallace defeated Franciscan earlier this season, but that match had numerous close matches and a Franciscan withdraw. The Lady Barons will surely be ready to avenge their earlier season loss to the Yellow Jackets.
