How It Happened
The Franciscan Lady Barons competed at Saint Vincent in the first road PAC conference matchup.

After multiple good runs that would not result in goals due to being offsides, the Lady Barons would strike first. Freshman Juliana Rubino would score in the lower left corner of the net for her first goal of her career. Senior Sarah Cocozza would send her a great ball from the Franciscan defensive end, that would give Rubino a 1 on 1  with the Bearcat goalie. St. Vincent would not take long to respond, as Lauren May would score less than four minutes later. The two teams would go into the half tied at 1-1.

The Lady Barons would get multiple great looks in the second half, as they out shot the Bearcats 8-4 over the 45 minute period. They would have twice as many shots and corners then the home team, but neither team was able to find the back of the net. Overtime was needed to determine the winner of this one.

Franciscan would start the overtime off with the ball in their offensive end, and they would be able to attempt a couple off shots. The Bearcats would then press the ball up the field, and with a little over five minutes remaining in the first overtime period Hannah Irvine fired a shot in the upper left corner of the goal to give Saint Vincent the win.

Inside the Numbers
- Juliana Rubino scored the lone goal for the Lady Barons, first of her career.

- The Lady Barons also had more corners, 12-3.
