How It Happened
The Franciscan Women's Volleyball team fell on Wednesday night to PAC conference leaders Westminster by a score of 3-0.

The Titans jumped out to a 6-3 lead in set one. A 5-0 run that included an Erin Fish kill would give the Lady Barons the lead at 8-6. Maria Bosco and Renee Antonelli would add kills to move the lead to 10-9, but then the Titans would go on a 6-0 run. They would not relinquish the lead, as they would win 25-16.

The Titans would take over in set two, as they would win 25-10. Maria Bosco added a pair of kills, and Caitlin O'Malley would have her first kill of the night in the second set. Three big Westminster runs would be the difference, as Franciscan could not snap their momentum.

The Lady Barons would not quit, as the third set proved to be the closest set. Marykate Taylor and Graysen Kraft would have big sets, as they added multiple kills each. The Titans would hold a large lead late, but a 4-0 Franciscan run would make it interesting before Westminster would close it out 25-18.

Inside the Numbers
- Maria Bosco had a team high seven kills.
- Lauren Betar, Emily Nutter and Grace Wallace each had a service ace.
- Emily Nutter had a team high 19 assists.
- Lauren Betar and Marykate Taylor each had 13 digs to lead the team.

Who's Next?
Franciscan will conclude their regular season with a home game against St. Vincent. It will serve as Senior Night for the lone senior, Lauren Betar. Franciscan is 1-5 all-time against Saint Vincent, with each of their matchups being decided in straight sets. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2017.
