How It Happened 
The Franciscan fell to Bethany 19-7 in a PAC conference game at home on Monday night. This was the third meeting between these two team this year. 

Michael Araps would score the first goal of the game to give Franciscan the lead at 1-0. Bethany would then rattle off three goals in a row to take a commanding lead. Daniel Clayton and Michael Araps would each add man-up goals late in the 1st quarter to tie it up at 3-3, before Bethany would add another one to take the lead going into the second quarter. 

Joe Miraglia would score his first goal of the game in the second quarter, but Bethany would win the quarter 5-1, to take a 9-4 lead into the half. The Bison would stay hot in the second half, as they scored six unanswered goals to stretch the lead to 15-4. Miraglia would find the back of the net for his second of the night, to head to the fourth trailing by ten. Jonathan Bookwalter and Elijah Evans would continue Franciscan's 3-0 run by scoring their first goals of the night early on in the fourth quarter. That would be it for Franciscan. as they fell 19-7.

Inside the Numbers 
- Michael Araps and Joe Miraglia each scored a pair.
- Miraglia added an assist to have a team high three points.
- Araps had a team high 12 ground balls.
- Daniel Clayton went 13-26 on face offs.
- Dru Teague caused three turnovers.

Who's Next? 
Franciscan will continue the busy week with a home match against Grove City on Wednesday. Franciscan is 0-2 all-time against Grove City, but they have not faced each other since 2019. Grove City is 3-0 in PAC play thus far, on top of the PAC standings.
