How It Happened
The Franciscan Lady Barons would fall in game one of the doubleheader against Saint Vincent, by a score of 5-0. This was their first meeting against the Bearcats, as their doubleheader scheduled in March was canceled. Both of these games will count against the team's PAC conference records.

Andi Queen would have a strong pitching performance for the Lady Barons, as she pitched seven innings with only a couple earned runs. The Lady Barons had a couple costly errors behind Queen that cost them a couple runs. Saint Vincent would connect on a two run homer in the fourth inning, that would prove to be enough. The Lady Barons would only earn three hits off the Saint Vincent starter, Bicko, as she earned her fourth win of the season.

How It Happened
The Barons reset from there game one defeat, and looked to pick up a conference win in game two.

Trailing 1-0 entering the bottom of the second inning, Franciscan's offense would find some traction. Chloe Cross led off the inning with a single into center field. After Ariana Arnone reached base on a fielders choice, Annie Cerjak lifted a single into right field, allowing Arnone to move to third base. Lilly Wahl laid down a perfect bunt loading the bases for Emma Barnes. Barnes got hit by a pitch, scoring the Barons first run of the game. Jenny Massey then singled into center field, scoring a run and giving Franciscan a 2-1 lead.

Saint Vincent would respond, plating five runs in the top of the third inning, retaking a 6-2 lead. Franciscan would quickly go to work chipping away at the deficit in the bottom of the third inning. Rachel Cooper led off the inning with a single to right field. Cross added another single to right field putting runners on first and second. Arnone would then launch a double into right center field, scoring Cooper and putting runners on second and third. Cerjak followed with a single to right field, scoring Cross and pulling the Barons back within two runs. Emma Barnes would drive in the final run of the inning, hitting a hard ground ball to second base, scoring Arnone.

The Bearcats would tack on another run in the top of the fourth inning, taking a 7-5 lead. Franciscan had an answer in the home half of the fourth inning. Massey led off the inning with a double to right field. Cooper followed with single to center field, scoring Massey and making the score 7-6.

Relief pitcher Andi Queen would slow the Bearcats offense, allowing nine hits, but holding the Bearcats from scoring in the final three innings. Franciscan found themselves trailing by one entering the bottom of the sixth inning. Elizabeth Gibson got hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, and the Barons brought in pinch runner Ashley Benson. Massey would again double this time to center field putting runners on second and third. Cooper then delivered a clutch sacrifice fly, scoring Benson and allowing Massey to advance to third. The Bearcats attempted to throw out Massey advancing to third, but the throw went to left field, allowing Massey to score and giving Franciscan a 8-7 lead. Saint Vincent would get runners on second and third in the seventh inning, but Queen would close the door, forcing an infield popup and groundout to close out the comeback victory.
