Franciscan 9, Saint Vincent 0

Latrobe, Pa. - Franciscan University kept up their strong play at Saint Vincent to retain their undefeated PAC record.

Doubles
Caroline Picard and Susan Schuberg were the first off the court, as they blanked St. Vincent in #3 doubles 8-0. Zoey Stapleton and Haley Davinsizer had similar sucess, as they won at #2 doubles, 8-1. Maria Herrera and Ana Victoria Haddad would have the closest match at #1 doubles, but they would win 8-3.

Singles
The Mexico-native Ana Victoria Haddad kept up her strong play in singles, as she won at #2 in straight sets 6-0, 6-1. Zoey Stapleton would take care of business at #3 singles by the same score as Haddad. Maria Herrera would get back on her winning ways, as she won at #1 singles, by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Caroline Picard and and Susan Schuberg each blanked their opponents in #5 and #6, by the score of 6-0, 6-0. The final win would be at #4 singles by Haley Davinsizer in the closest match, by a score of 6-3, 6-2.

Who's Next? 
Franciscan will return to action at home on Saturday, against another team that is undefeated in PAC matchups, Grove City. The Lady Barons are 2-4 all-time against the Wolverines, with wins in their last two meetings. In 2019 the Lady Barons won 7-2 at home. Zoey Stapleton and Haley Davinsizer each won in doubles and singles play to help Franciscan secure the win.
