How It Happened
The Barons faced the Tornados for the second time in three days. The Barons got off to a slow start with miscues, turnovers, missed easy field goals, and it was a quick 9 point deficit. The effort was there early, and they managed to claw back and halfway through the first half managed to take a one point lead. This was the last time the Barons would have the lead. A couple quick layups off Barons turnovers and a three from Veynovich put the Barons behind 7.
In the second half, Sean Hickey gave it everything he had. He was responsible for 10 of the Barons first 15 points in the second half. In the closing minutes, the Barons had a double digit deficit. A three pointer from Travis Lien and two jumpers from Sean Hickey brought the Barons to within six. The next possessions ended with Baron fouls leading to Tornado free throws, and a turnover from Tristan McDannell put the Barons back down 10.

Inside the Numbers
