Steubenville, Ohio: The Franciscan Men's Soccer team released their 2022 schedule, which consists of 18 regular season games starting on September 2nd. The Barons are entering their third year in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in the 2022 season. Franciscan comes into the 2022 season after making it all the way to the PAC Championship game last season for the first time in school history.
Franciscan begins the 2022 season on the road at Penn St. Behrend for a season opening tournament on September 2nd and 3rd. The Barons will open up their home slate on September 7th against former AMCC foe Pitt-Greensburg. The Barons then complete their tough non-conference slate with four games over seven days.
Starting September 21st at Waynesburg, the Barons enter their 10 game conference schedule. Home conference opponents include Grove City, Thiel, Washington & Jefferson, Chatham, Saint Vincent. The regular season concludes at, new PAC member, Allegheny on Saturday October, 22nd. The Barons hope to repeat their trip to the PAC Tournament, as the top six teams, of now an 11 team league will make postseason play.
