Franciscan 8, Waynesburg 1

Doubles
  The Barons went 3-0 in doubles play. Olivia Stewart made her debut in doubles on the #3 pairing with teammate Isabella Matt who was also celebrating senior night. Anna Glenn and Ellen Popp played the #2 doubles match and easily defeated their opponents 8-2. Herrera's usual partner Colby took a day off and Herrera paired up with Delaney Dawson at the top pairing. 

Singles
    Many Barons not normally in the roster got to see some action today. Olivia Stewart, Anabel Stickney, Lauren Schoenberger, and Elizabeth Suess all saw play in Singles to finish off this year's conference play. The #5 singles matchup was the only match the Barons dropped for the day. Maria Herrera quickly defeated her opponent in the #1 pairing dropping only 1 game. Her win completes a three year run of going undefeated in conference play. She has now passed the century mark for total career wins

Next Up
    Franciscan will now prepare for the PAC Tournament. They will host Saint Vincent on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. for the PAC Quarterfinals. These two teams played back on September 13th with the Barons winning 8-1. The Barons had a pretty normal lineup play that night, while just dropping on match in a three-set battle at #5 singles. The winner of this matchup will travel to play #2 Grove City on Thursday in the PAC Semifinals.
