Race Highlights
The Franciscan Men's Cross Country Team made their second trip to Thiel of the 2023 season on Saturday. This time the stakes were a little higher for the PAC Championships with all 11 member schools in attendance. The Barons would not be able to win their sixth straight conference championship today, but a lot of new personal records were set in route to a seventh place finish for the Barons.

Conal Delaney led the way with a 10th place finish. His time of 26:37.82 was a new season-best time for the junior. Seamus Sommers shattered his personal record time by over a minute, as he placed 32nd with a time of 27:46.87 in the 8K race. Andrew Madigan was not far behind him in 35th. Freshman Anthony Pucillo kept up his steady improvement with a new personal record time in 56th place. Rounding out the top-five finishers for Franciscan would be Nathaniel Tokarsky. That would result in 164 points for a seventh place finish.

Saint Vincent would take home the Championship with 56 team points to win by 15 points over Washington & Jefferson. Kevin Arsenaux from Geneva would win the race individually with a time of 25:52.44.
