How It Happened
The Barons traveled to New Kensington, Pa to face off against the Penn State satellite school. The Barons were without both
Alexis McKnight and
Kimberly McDaniels. Having two hitters out of your lineup is a tough challenge to overcome. In game 1 the Barons were on the wrong end of a no-hitter. Cedillo pitched one of her better games this season, but not enough to overcome the offensive struggle. The Barons lost in 6 innings 8-0.

Up Next
Franciscan will now jump back into conference play, as they come home to host Grove City on Saturday. The Barons are 3-9 all-time against the Wolverines, including a split last season in a home doubleheader. The Barons entered the bottom of the seventh trailing 4-3 in game two, and
Rachel Cooper would deliver by scoring Jenny Masey on a fielder's choice. She then scored the winning run on a wild pitch to give the Barons a 5-4 win.
