How It Happened
Franciscan took on Grove City on Saturday in a game that was moved to Slippery Rock. In game one, the Wolverines would jump out to a 7-0 lead after two innings of play. In the fourth the Barons would answer.
Wade Stoehr would drive in
Brendan Burke, and
Jacob Watson doubled in
Dylan Robb to cut th deficit to five runs. The Wolverines would add three more runs in the sixth to strengthen their lead.
In the eighth, the Barons would get the bats going.
Dylan Robb drove in a pair of run with a double. Then with two outs,
David Ferroni delivered a bases clearing double to set the score at 10-7. The Wolverines would answer with three runs of their own in the home half of the eighth to give us a final score of 13-7

How It Happened
Game two would have a similar start, as the Wolverines would jump out to an early 8-0 lead through three innings. The Wolverines would tack on three more runs over the next two innings to hold an 11-0 lead. Franciscan would not be able to get a run across, so this one would be over after seven innings.
