Steubenville, Ohio -Â It was Senior Day in Steubenville, as
Olivia Colby and
Elizabeth Suess were honored prior to the match for their year's of dedication to the program. On the court, The Wolverines would pick up the win to clinch the #2 seed in the upcoming PAC Championship Tournament.
Doubles
 Â
Olivia Colby and
Jordan Beltavski improved to 10-0 in doubles matches with a win at the #2 spot. Six of those matches came in conference contests, as they have proven to be one of the best duos in the conference.
Elizabeth Suess made her season debut at #3 singles.
Veronica Saunders and Suess would fall 6-1. The #1 pair of
Claire Cardie and
Kina Ehlers suffered the same result, as the Wolverines would take a 1-0 lead into singles.
Singles
  The Barons would drop matches at #2, #5, and #6 for the Wolverines to secure the win and hold a 4-0 edge. At the #4 spot,
Jordan Beltavski dropped the opening set 6-4 but responded with a 6-4 win in set two to force a tiebreaker. She would battle hard but fall in the tiebreaker.
At #1 singles,
Claire Cardie would come back from a 6-4 setback in the opening set to win the second 6-3. In the tiebreaker, she would take the early lead and be able to close out the comeback to get the Barons on the board. At #3,
Kina Ehlers would win the opening set 7-6 in a very, close fought set. She closed out her opponent 6-3 to end the match on a high note for the Barons.
Next Up
  Franciscan will await their matchup in the PAC Quarterfinal this upcoming Tuesday. Multiple conference games are set to be played on Saturday, and then the conference will release the official bracket for the PAC Championship Tournament.Â
