Latrobe, Pa. - The PAC Quarterfinals would be moved twice due to weather, but it was worth the wait. The Barons went to Latrobe and took down #3 Saint Vincent, in their first ever hosted PAC playoff game, by a score of 4-1.
Doubles

Kina Ehlers and
Claire Cardie were first to finish with a 6-1 victory at the #1 spot.
Olivia Colby and
Jordan Beltavski remained unbeaten while playing together, as they won 6-2 at the #2 spot.
Lucy Rochat and
Veronica Saunders were leading at #3, but that would go unfinished, as the Barons took a 1-0 lead.
Singles

Claire Cardie kept up her positive momentum from doubles in singles. She won 6-0, 6-0 to give the Barons a 2-0 lead. Saint Vincent got on the board next, as
Margaret Vernau fell at #6 singles. The Barons got back on track with a win at #3.
Kina Ehlers won 6-2, 6-0 to put the Barons one point away from the semifinal berth.
Jordan Beltavski came through with a 6-2, 6-2 winner at #4 to clinch the match for Franciscan.

  Franciscan remains on the road for the PAC Semifinal at Grove City on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. These two teams just played on October 10th. The Wolverines spoiled senior day with a 5-2 victory in Steubenville. The Barons do hold the edge in the all-time series with eight wins in their previous 15 meetings.Â
