How It Happened
In game 1 of the final day at Myrtle Beach, SC, the Barons were blanked by SUNY Delhi. In the top of the 4th the Barons had their best offensive inning and chances at producing a run. Kozares led off with a single, Cedillo, two batters later, singled and advanced Kozares to second. Fluharty followed that up and put her bat on the ball, but she reached 1st off a fielder's choice as the defense chose to throw out Kozares at third. Benson flied out after that for the third out, leaving Cedillo and Kozares on base.

How It Happened
In the final game of the Myrtle Beach spring training, Franciscan put together four hits from four different players. For the second time today they were blanked with runs. The week showed flashes and moments of improvement or promise from young players. This team as a young core that looks vastly improved from last year. We are excited to see how they perform and improve as the season progresses.

Up Next
Franciscan will have a week between games, as they will begin PAC play on Saturday March 23rd at Westminster. The Barons are 1-7 all-time against the Titans with their win coming in 2022. In that 6-2 win, Lilly Wahl pitched a complete game win with four strikeouts and two earned runs.
