How It Happened
    In game one, Penn State Beaver would take advantage of some fielding miscues to score six runs in the first three innings. Franciscan would break through in the fourth. Gonzales would come to bat with the bases loaded. She would reach on an error while driving in Fluharty. De La Torre would then draw a walk to score Benson, and Davis would do the same with two outs to cut the lead in half. That would be all the offense for the Barons in game one, as the Lions would win 9-3

At the Plate
-Benson, Davis, and Fluharty each had two hits.
- Fluharty had a double for the lone extra-base hit.
- Davis and Rackley each stole one base.

In the Circle
-Starter Katie Fluharty went the distance with just three earned runs while striking out eight.

How It Happened
    The Barons would have some defensive miscues in the first that led to 10 runs from Penn State Beaver. The Barons would score a pair of runs in the third and one in the final frame, but they would not be able to overcome the big opening inning.

At the Plate
-Maxwell had three hits and scored two runs.
- Davis had a pair of hits and an RBI.
- Clow and Benson stole one base.

In the Circle
-Starter Fluharty pitched both games today. 
- She only allowed four earned runs while walking eight and striking out a pair.

Up Next
Franciscan will begin PAC play on Saturday, as they travel to Westminster. The Barons are looking to snap a two-game skid against the Titans, as they won each of the games between these teams last year. In their last win against Westminster in 2022, Franciscan won at home by a score of 6-2. Lilly Wahl had the complete game win, as the Barons would put up six runs in the first inning and hold on to win.
