How it Happened
The Barons made the trip to Youghigheny Country Club on Saturday for non-conference matchup against the Celtics. Through the winds that made it feel like near freezing, Franciscan and Carlow would push through with the hosts winning this one.

Molly McLean carded a 98 to lead the way for the Barons. She would just fall short of medalist honors, as a pair of Celtics shot 94. Emily Browne shot 116. Lauren David shot a 148, and Sarah Kish made her collegiate debut for the Barons with a 168.

Franciscan will return to action at the Grove City Invitational on April 6th. Six PAC schools are scheduled to be in attendance, so this will be a good early preview of where the Barons stack up this spring.
