Steubenville, Ohio - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released their Pre-Championship Coaches' poll for women's golf for the 2026-27 season. Franciscan was picked to finish tied for seventh in the championship, with 43 points. The PAC Fall Championships will take place on October 12th and 13th at the Avalon Lakes Country Club in Vienna, Ohio.

Golfers to Watch

The PAC listed two Baron golfers to watch.  The first is senior Catherine Ehresman (Mason, Mich. / Mason).  Ehresman has been on the Franciscan golf team for three years. Last week, at the Grove City Fall Invite, she shot a team best round of 106.

Junior Chloe Puhl (North Lima, Ohio / South Ridge) was the other golfer mentioned. This will be her third season playing. Last week, she shot a round of 109, second best on the team, at the Grove City Fall Invite.

The Favorites

With 106 points last season (and nine first-place votes), Westminster was picked again by the PAC to repeat its victory. With 93 points, Grove City stands as a close second, while Allegheny was interpreted to finish top three.

Up Next

Play is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday at Avalon Squaw Creek. Tee times will be released on Sunday. The Championship will conclude in April with two more rounds to give each team a four-round total.
