Grove City, Pa. - Franciscan Women's Golf opened up the spring semester at Grove City on a warm but blustery day. The Barons placed seventh out of 10 teams, while besting three fellow PAC schools in the process.

How it Happened
Natalie Smith led the Barons with a 97. The freshman was able to bogey seven of her final eight holes and made a par on #13.
Lauren David delivered a 100 with a par of pars scattered on her scorecard.
Chloe Puhl shot a 104 with a team-high three pars throughout her up-and-down round.
Katie Black shot a 108 to round out the top four scorers for the Barons.
Brooke Biagi made her season debut with a 116, including back-to-back pars on #12 and #13.
That resulted in a team score of 409, which is one shot off their best performance at Grove City Country Club. That 408 came in 2024.
Westminster won the event with a team score of 335. Emily Burling of Grove City was the medalist with a 78, the lone player in the 70s.

Franciscan is scheduled to return to competition at Washington & Jefferson on April 13th. They will compete in the Rossin Memorial Invitational at Southpointe Golf Club. The Barons placed 6th out of seven teams at that event last season with a 472.
