How It Happened 
   The Barons jumped out to an early lead scoring three unanswered goals. For the early minutes the game was a battle of the goalies. Both faced a flurry of high quality shots on goal, but the Barons' Racca saved everything that came near her. Morisey, Lyle, and Brehm were prolific threats all first half. Cooke seemed to be the only player the Bearcats goalie had her sights on and stopped all of Cooke's shots on goal in the first half. The eighth time's the charm. Near the end of the second quarter she finally found the back of the net with her eighth shot. 
    The first goal of the second half initiated the running clock. The Barons extended their lead to 15 goals before allowing a few late Bearcat goals. In the final quarter Bronwyn McGovern scored twice grabbing her first and second career goals, then Lillian Vale followed suit scoring her first career goal.

Up Next
Franciscan will return to action Tuesday April 2nd at Westminster. The Barons are 5-1 all-time against the Titans with wins in their last three meetings. Last season was a close one, as the Barons won by a score of 11-9. Ashley Morisey, Theresa Lyle, Carolyn Cooke, and Kiera Wilson each scored a pair of goals in the victory.
