How It Happened
The Cougars would plate a pair of runs in the first.
Shae Mummey would put up a pair of zeros in the second and third innings before Chatham would get to him in the fourth. The would score four in that inning, and then add seven in the fifth after a couple of defensive miscues. The Barons would score their lone run in the sixth on a sacrifice fly from
Devon Ashcraft.
At the Plate
- Stoehr and Killian each had a pair of hits.
- Ashcraft had the lone RBI.
- They drew four walks and struck out four times.
On the Mound
- Mummey allowed six earned through 3.1 innings.

How It Happened
The Cougars would jump out to a 5-0 lead after the top of the first with only one run being earned to the starter, Stoehr. The Barons would get one back in the home half, but it would all Cougars in this one again. Franciscan would put up a crooked number of their own in the sixth with RBIs from Ashcraft, Juarez, and Nemmers, but the Cougars would get enough runs across to end this one after seven.
At the Plate
- Tyler went 2-3 with a pair of runs scored.

Nicholas Peffer came in off the bench and had a pair of hits.
- Juarez drove in two runners.
- Ferroni drew two walks.
On the Mound
- Stoehr would come out after one innings, but remain in the lineup to hit.
