How It Happened
It was a tough go straight from the rip in game 1 for the Barons. Chatham consistently put up runs each inning. It wasn't until the 5th when the Barons finally collected themselves and had a clean inning. Chatham's Ahlborn was a perfect 4 for 4 from the plate and made it extremely difficult for the Barons to get out of innings.

-Rackley was 1 for 2
-Fluharty was 1 for 2
-Kozares was 1 for 2
In the Circle

How It Happened
Game 2 was one of the cleanest games I've seen the Barons play this season. Two errors in the 4th which led to the Cougars tallying up 5 runs, but outside of that for the first few innings the Barons nipped at the Cougars 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the 1st Rackley got on base from a walk, then advanced to third off sac bunts. She was in scoring position and just needed someone to put the ball in play to tie the game. Unfortunately, Davis grounded out to retire the inning.
Again in the 3rd the Barons threatened to tie or take the lead. Cougars' pitcher walked the first two batters, then Rackley hit a sac bunt to advance two runners into scoring position. Luck was against them again. Maxwell put her bat on the ball, but only got a small piece of it. Her ball grounded toward the pitcher who scooped it up and tagged Benson heading for home. With two outs Fluharty had a chance to send Collins home, but grounded out to retire the inning.
The Barons got some offense moving in the bottom of the fourth when Davis saw first after receiving four balls. She showed her speed by stealing second and advanced to third on a ground-out by Cedillo. Clow hit a bomb down the third base line to send the runner home and land herself on third. Her hit sent Davis home and put the Barons on the board.
At the Plate
-Rackley and Benson were 1 for 2
-Clow and Maxwell were 1 for 3
-Davis scored the lone run
In the Circle
-Starter Fluharty pitched 7.0 innings allowing 13 hits, 7 ER, and recorded 4 SO
