Boardman, Ohio - Franciscan Women's Golf concluded the 2023-24 season with the fourth and final round of the PAC Championship on Saturday on a windy day at Mill Creek-North Course.
How it Happened
The Barons were led by
Molly McLean who carded an 87 in the second to last group today. She had nine pars, including three in a row from six to eight. Her 36 hole score of 169 is second best in program history. That score would also be eighth best among the entire conference over these two rounds.
Lauren David would improve upon her round for Friday, as she shot a 122 with three bogeys on the card.
Emily Browne would be right behind her with a 127. Browne would also be named to the PAC All-Sportsmanship Team that was announced at the completion of the Tournament.
Sarah Kish shot the same score as Friday with a 151.
Westminster would defend their title by winning, but this time by just one shot in the closest PAC Championship in history. They will earn the conference's automatic qualifer into the NCAA National Championship which will be played in May.
