How It Happened 
   The Barons traveled to take on the first place Grove City Wolverines. The Barons kept pace with shots, shots on goal, but the Wolverines had a few more saves and a handful less turnovers which made all the difference. The teams were evenly matched. For three of the four quarters the Barons only had a two goal deficit. It was the second quarter that did them in. They were outpaced 7-1 in that quarter. 

Inside the Numbers 
-Biagi had a game-high 9 draw controls
-Hilkert had a game-high 10 shots and 6 SOG, and led the Barons with 4 goals
-Theresa Lyle scored a hat trick off 6 SOG
-Lillian Vale recorded 5 saves

Up Next
Franciscan will return home on Wednesday for a PAC matchup against Thiel at 4:00 p.m. The Barons are 4-5 all-time against the Tomcats, as they were able to beat them last season. Grace Deegan netted six goals and Joanna Hilkert scored four in a 20-16 win in 2023.
