How it Happened
The Barons made the trip north on 79 to Grove City Country Club for their Spring Invitational. It would be a chilly breezy day with the high barely touching 50 degrees for the 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
Molly McLean would lead the way for the Barons, as she fired a 90 to placed eighth individually in her best round of the spring thus far.Â
Lauren David would shot a 133, and
Emily Browne shot a 139.
Sarah Kish carded a 163 in just her second collegiate event. Out of the 45 players in the field, Katie Rose Rankin of Westminster would take home medalist honors with a round of 78. The Titans of Westminster would also take home the team title with a score of 336. Franciscan's score of 525 was seventh best today.Â
