How It Happened
    The Barons hung with a very talented Gator team for four of the six innings. They did a solid job defensively. Rackley was all over the outfield getting outs and helping her team out of the inning. The Gators had a three run shot in the 3rd inning and a couple errors in the 6th put the Barons down ten runs and ending the game after the bottom of the 6th.

At the Plate
-Rackley was 1 for 2
-Maxwell was 1 for 3 with a double
-Fluharty was 1 for 3 and scored the lone run

-Starter Fluharty pitched 6 innings allowed 10 hits, 8 earned runs, and recorded 2 strikeouts

How It Happened
   Game 2 of the doubleheader was a repeat of game 1. Some incredible defensive plays and competing at a high level with the Gators coupled with a couple nightmare innings that cut the game short.

-Starter Cedillo pitched 4.1 innings allowing 12 hits and 8 earned runs
-Fluharty pitched 0.2 innings allowing 0 hits off 2 at bats

Up Next
Franciscan will return to action at home on Wednesday, as they bumped up their doubleheader against Saint Vincent from Thursday to Wednesday due to the forecasted rain. The doubleheader will begin at 3:30 p.m. The Barons are 1-13 all-time against the Bearcats, as they hope to snap a four game skid against them on Wednesday.
