The Latest
- Franciscan last played on Homecoming Saturday. They fell in four sets to the reigning PAC Champions, Allegheny.
- Logan Hickey earned PAC Newcomer of the Week recognition for the second consecutive week and third time in her young career.
- Hickey's 25 kills against Allegheny were the most by a Baron in a four-set match in program history.
- The Barons will play a pair of away matches this week before returning home on October 7th against Washington & Jefferson 

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
- The Yellow Jackets snapped a six-game skid by beating La Roche in five sets on Saturday.
- Waynesburg's other win came against Pitt-Greensburg. The Barons also beat those two teams this season.
- They are in search of their first PAC win.
- Franciscan is 15-3 all-time against them, including wins in the last three meetings.

Historic Start to a Career
- Logan Hickey has had a historic start to her collegiate career with 197 kills over 12 matches. 
- She has recorded 16 or more kills in each of the last five matches.
- She is among the Top 25 in all of NCAA Division III in points per set (4.87) and kills per set (4.38)
- She is rapidly closing in on Franciscan's freshman kill record of 215 by Maria Ciola' 19 in the 2015 season.
- Anna Cain had 332 kills in 2012, her senior year, and that has stood since as the most kills by a Baron in a season.

Rising through the Ranks
-Mary Jean Cadman climbed into 7th all-time in kills with 558 and is nearing her former teammate, Gabrielle Disselkamp '25 is 6th with 641 kills.
- Cadman climbed to 9th in points with 612.0. In eighth, Amy O'Keefe '15 has 655.5 points 
- Mary Smart climbed to seventh all-time set assists with 530. She now closes in on Rachel Potopa '17, who sits in sixth with 645.
- Kaitlan Hickey eclipsed 500 digs against Allegheny. Entering this match, her 3.68 digs per set over her career is fifth-best in program history.
