The Latest
- Franciscan traveled to Hiram on Saturday and fell in four sets
- After taking the first set, the Barons couldn't handle the powerful offense of the Terriers, who took the final sets 25-20, 25-21, and 25-13
- The Terriers had three players with at least 16 kills, and Maggie Riley led all players with 18
- Logan Hickey led the Barons with 16 kills, and Mary Jean Cadman added 13
- The Barons dropped to fourth in the PAC South division

Scouting the Cougars
- Chatham has been excellent so far this season, boasting a 12-3 record, 7-1 PAC record, and first place in the PAC South
- Their only PAC loss came against second-place Washington and Jefferson
- They have been arguably the best defensive team in the PAC so far
- They lead the conference in lowest average opponent assists and kills per game
- Opponents have by far the lowest hitting percentage against Chatham at 0.071, with the next closest being 0.124
- It has been a balanced team effort offensively, as they have no players in the top 15 in the PAC in kills per set

A Look Around the League
WVB
Historic Start to a Career
- Logan Hickey has had a historic start to her collegiate career with 273 kills over 16 matches. If the season ended today, that would be the 7th most by a Baron in a season all-time
- Anna Cain had 332 kills in 2012, her senior year, and that has stood since as the most kills by a Baron in a season.
- Hickey has recorded 15 or more kills in each of the last nine matches.
- She ranks 16th in all of NCAA Division III in points per set (4.91) and 11th in kills per set (4.43).

Attack vs. Defense
- It will be interesting to see the matchup between the defensive-minded Cougars and the Barons' aggressive hitters
- Logan Hickey ranks first in the PAC in kills per set, and Mary Jean Cadman ranks 10th
- The Cougar defense has neutralized their opponents' ability to hit well and finish kills all season
- The Barons average 11.18 kills per set, but the Cougars have only allowed an average of 8.85 kills per set to their opponents

Rising through the Ranks
-Mary Jean Cadman climbed into 7th all-time in kills with 611 and is nearing her former teammate, Gabrielle Disselkamp '25, who is 6th with 641 kills.
- Cadman climbed to 8th in points with 666.5. She passed Amy O'Keefe '15, who was in eighth with 655.5 points. She now trails Christina Lawrence '15 with 719.
- Mary Smart climbed to seventh all-time set assists with 642. She now closes in on Rachel Potopa '17, who sits in sixth with 645.
- Kaitlan Hickey's 4.06 digs per set over her career is fourth-best in program history. It has steadily climbed all season, as she is approaching Nicole Henson '12, who held a 4.46 average as a Baron.
