The Latest
- Franciscan battled Chatham, the top team in the PAC South Division, on Tuesday night but fell in four sets. 
- Logan Hickey had 25 kills and a .297 attack percentage to lead the offense. Mary Smart had 39 set assists, and Katlan Hickey had 29 digs. 
- The Barons are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and remain in playoff position.

Scouting the Tomcats
- The road does not get easier, as the Barons now face the top team in the North Division.
- Thiel enters this game on a five-match winning streak. Their lone PAC loss came in four sets to Washington & Jefferson.
- Their offense goes through Daisy Janness. She is third in the nation in attacks per set (12.70), one spot behind Logan Hickey.
- The Tomcats are second in the PAC in points per set and kills per set. Their defense has also been strong, as their opponents' hitting percentage is second-lowest in the PAC.

- The Barons are 1-6 all-time against the Tomcats.

Historic Start to a Career
- Logan Hickey has had a historic start to her collegiate career with 298 kills thus far. If the season ended today, that would be the 4th most by a Baron in a season all-time.
- With two more kills, she will join Meg Kay, Dani Link, and Anna Cain, as the only four Barons with a 300+ kill season.
- Anna Cain had 332 kills in 2012, her senior year, and that has stood since as the most kills by a Baron in a season.
- Hickey has recorded 15 or more kills in each of the last 10 matches.
- She ranks T9th in all of NCAA Division III  in kills per set (4.52) and 14th in points per set (4.98) 

I Dig It
- In her first season as libero, Kaitlan Hickey is making some national noise.
- The sophomore sits 4th in the nation in digs per set (6.24). Sierra Ricci of Chatham leads the nation at 7.40. 
- Her 4.14 digs per set over her career is fourth-best in program history. It has steadily climbed all season, as she is approaching Nicole Henson '12, who held a 4.46 average as a Baron.

Rising through the Ranks
-Mary Jean Cadman climbed into 7th all-time in kills with 618 and is nearing her former teammate, Gabrielle Disselkamp '25, who is 6th with 641 kills.
- Cadman climbed to 8th in points with 675.0. She now trails Christina Lawrence '15 with 719. 
- Mary Smart climbed to sixth all-time set assists with 681. She is now approaching Sydney Riley '20, who is 5th with 777 set assists.
- Against Chatham, Sarah Clyde eclipsed 100 total blocks in her career. Her 30 career solo blocks are tied with Monica Riguad '18 for fourth-most in program history. Her 103 total blocks are tied for eighth-most in program history. She is nearing Maria Ciola '19, who sits in 7th with 109.
